A model of Internet and a method to suppress virus

Abstract

Internet is a large network with a special topology. Better modeling its structure is the key to finding virus spread pattern and suppressing virus spread efficiently. In my research, I find the Internet features a division of transit domain layer and stub domain layer, and propose a model of two layers using different matrix to describe their structure, vulnerability and value. According to the indexes in my model, I find an overall best solution to prevent virus spread and ensure network connectivity. In my simulation based on a 100 nodes Internet pattern network, it receives cheerful results.
